Amy is a renaissance woman. She paints masterpieces, travels the globe, pontificates big ideas, and, most importantly, dances hip hop like none other! Amy is also a woman who speaks her mind, gets things done and pushes the envelope when needed. As a devoted Twin employee, wife, mother and friend, we all admire the heck out of her.
When asked the following questions, Amy smiled big and responded…
What is one thing you do every day? Eat Ice Cream and double check to make sure I unplugged my straighter (yes, so annoying).
If you had an extra hour every day what would you do with it? Go for a bike ride with my husband and little boy.
What song makes you want to get up and dance? What song doesn’t want to make me get up and dance? I love dancing! “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and anything by Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Jason Derulo and Black Eyed Peas always get me going. Oooh and Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk”.
What is your favorite thing about your job? The people that I get to work with, I love our team!
What was your favorite childhood game to play? Capture the flag
What’s the best trip you have ever taken? I love traveling so I have a lot of favorites, but if I had to choose one, probably when my husband and I went to China for 10 days to work at a foster center that I got to be a part of at my previous job.
If you could be in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be? Friday Night Lights. I would love to be Tammy Taylor, advocating and helping those students.
Who has had the most influence in your life? I’m thankful that in different seasons, different people have been influential. But at the end of the day, I think my Brother has been a constant influence. He has always supported me in big decisions and encouraged me to do things he knew that I really wanted to do but was scared to do them. He is also the one who made me tough.
If you could be the master of one skill, what would it be? Making decisions.
What or who makes you laugh the most? I think it’s hilarious to hide from people and scare them (makes me laugh until I cry almost every time).
